Chittenden County Flooding

The North Williston Road is closed Wednesday, April 27 after the Winooski River flooded from the heavy rains Tuesday night (photo by Erik Wells).

I went to check out some of the local flooding this morning, and made my way to North Williston Road in Essex Town- a notorious place where the Winooski will usually flood in situations like this. The road connects Vt. Route 117 in Essex to the Town of Williston. Copied below is a video I made from my trip this morning that I posted on our YouTube channel- let’s hope the waters go down soon.
